Can we announce yet?

Its official!!! We got the good news on Tuesday afternoon and my specialist confirmed it on Wednesday morning!! But now what…..?! Do we tell the world or do wait till 13 weeks and 5 days… or is it 14 weeks….??!! When EXACTLY is the 2nd trimester….?!?!?!

Either way, we got the news that we wanted and were ecstatic to share it with everyone!! And besides…. I was starting to show and I could not fit into the majority of my work clothes. I either needed to go shopping or tell everyone that I do indeed own a washing machine and why I was wearing the same two outfits every second day…

I am excited to say that we are official expecting TWINS and the little bundles of joy will be due October 22nd, 2018. That’s our “due date” but these little guys/girls will likely make an appearance somewhere this September??

I really don’t know if I am terrified or excited. Maybe a little of both….

Let me tell ya… Twin B likes to party!! He/she is doing what I call “the plank” in this photo. This little nugget WOULD NOT sit still!! It took the ultrasound technician over 20 mins to get a heartbeat because it was moving so much!!

You don’t really feel pregnant (besides the nausea, the bloating, the peeing 3 times a night, the INSANE exhaustion, the weird food aversions, did I mention nausea…??) till you see them moving. It really didn’t feel real to me till I saw them moving on Tuesday and Wednesday. Their tiny little hands and toes (they kinda look like skelator  in the scans) and its neat to see their little hearts beats fluttering.

It FINALLY felt official.

Now the fun part….. SHOPPING!!! I haven’t bought ONE item yet. I didn’t want to jinx it. I really don’t even know where to start?! And then twins…. does that mean I need two of everything?! Eeeek!!! This is going to get expensive!! Maybe I should start a Go-Fund Me page (kidding!!!) or better yet, I’m inviting 300 of my closest friends to the baby shower….. that should get us settled in for the first few months right?!
